Madison County District Attorney Investigator Kevin Turner was recently honored by the Alabama-Louisiana-Mississippi District of Optimist International at a "Respect for Law" Banquet. Turner, a veteran investigator with the District Attorney's office sice 1996, was formerly a deputy with the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
Although Turner conducts investigation into many areas, his primary focus is gang-related crime and he is a nationally-recognized speaker in that field. As a mentor to the children in our community, Turner teaches in schools about gangs and drugs and is a board member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He and his wife Corley have two children, Ella and Grayson. The South Huntsville Optimist Club nominated him for this honor.
